Reading Day Celebration!!!

19/06/2023, Kundoor : P.M.S.T Arts & Science College NSS Unit ,Malayalam Department, and Library Committee in association with IQAC came together to celebrate Reading Day on June 19.

The function inagurated by College Principal Prof K.Ibraine followed by the keynote address delivered by Markaz General Secretary NP Alihaji. The event was graced by the presence of P.Sirajuddeen, the Program Officer of the NSS unit, Saritha K, the Head of the Malayalam Department, Muralidharan RK, the Head of the Commerce Department, Likhita, the Head of the Journalism Department, Sabik.C, the Librarian, and NSS Volunteers Zainaba and Mohammad Faris.

During the event, the Journalism department students generously donated books to the library, enriching its collection. Following this, competitions were organized in various categories, providing an opportunity for participants to showcase their skills and knowledge.

As part of their outreach activities, the NSS volunteers also visited G.M.U.P. School, Kodinhi. They donated books to the school library, contributing to the educational resources available for the children. Additionally, the volunteers organized reading-based entertainment programs, aimed at engaging and entertaining the young learners.

At the program organized in G.M.U.P. School Headmistress Anita Teacher, P. T. A. President Haris P, N.S. S. Program Officer P. Sirajuddin, Shashi Kumar Master, Mumtaz Teacher, Abdul Salam, Shabeer and N.S. S. Volunteers Ziyan, Fayiz delivered speeches to inspire and motivate the attendees.
